Industry: Education

Press Release Summary: Is it worth the coffee? Right now, many interns across
America are playing important roles in their company's progress, while others are
stuck performing menial tasks. As internships are becoming increasingly important,
students are searching for ways to make more informed decisions about their
potential employers. This is why two Boston University students founded
InternshipRatings.com, a new website to rate, research and compare internships in
various industries across the United States.

InternshipRatings.com gives students an outlet to freely express their experiences
and therefore help others learn the truth about interning at companies. The site
allows students to rate their experience by surveying various aspects of their
experience. There are currently more than 200 companies rated on the site!

Press Release Body: Two Boston University students, Lauren Grunstein and Stephanie
Gurtman, announce the launch of InternshipRatings.com, a resource to rate, research
and compare internships in various industries across the United States. The site
provides students with an honest and friendly environment to voice their opinions on
current or past internships with the option of anonymity.

Each company's overall rating is based on a five coffee cup scale, reminiscent of an
intern's stereotypical coffee-fetching duties. InternshipRatings.com surveys users
about their salary, work environment and networking opportunities. Users are also
provided with a comment box to expand upon the positive and negative aspects of
their experience.

Current company listings include XM Satellite Radio, ABC, MTV, Lehman Brothers, AOL
and Mullen Communications. InternshipRatings.com makes it easy to search for
internships by state, region, industry and company name. Users can view the top 5
rated internships, 5 worst rated internships and 5 most recently rated internships
on the homepage.

InternshipRatings.com also offers Take Note, an interactive career advice column
featuring articles by career services professionals, human resources directors and
company executives. The blog format enables students and columnists to communicate.
Take Note has articles from more than 50 career service centers and companies
throughout the United States. Distinguished columnists include associates at Major
League Baseball, General Mills, Pfizer and Ernst & Young.

Future plans for InternshipRatings.com include a messaging feature to enable users
to converse about their internships; an internship listings section and
collaboration with internship consultant Richard Bottner of Intern Bridge to aid
poorly rated companies.

About Gigi Girls, Inc.
Lauren Grunstein and Stephanie Gurtman founded Gigi Girls, Inc. in 2007 to create
InternshipRatings.com. After meeting at Boston University\'s College of
Communication, Lauren and Stephanie went through the process of selecting their
summer internships together. At the end of their terms, the two realized their
experiences were the exact opposite of their expectations. They agreed students need
an online resource to rate and compare internships. In its seventh month,
InternshipRatings.com has already amassed more than 200 company ratings and 400
members.
